Q:  What kind of materials do you use?
A:  Gemstones, Freshwater Pearls, Vintage Beads, Sterling Silver, 14K Gold Filled wire, and many other found objects.  I search high and low for unique findings and charms that are durable and user friendly.

Q:   Do you make everything?
A:  I do make nearly everything.  The Fruit design was taught to me by my mother, Veronica, and everything else is a derivation of it.  I use dead soft wire which is easy to manipulate.  I also make the french wire earring hooks, head pins, silver droplets, and some clasps.

I like to joke about how this is the perfect job for me because I have such a short attention span.  I only duplicate the most popular designs, but I often recreate them in different colors.  Every piece is original and individual.

Q:  How do you care for the jewelry?  It looks very fragile- will it tarnish?
A:  All metals tend to oxidize over time.  It really depends on how you store your jewelry.  I clean the wire wrapped earrings by gently using a polishing cloth.  I've even used a toothbrush and dishwashing liquid.  Dry it on a towel, which will absorb the moisture.
If you buy a piece online, I will send each piece with an anti-tarnish strip made by 3M.  I also have the strips with me at craft fairs, so please be sure to ask me for some when you stop by.
I use a dead soft wire so you can always gently reshape the earring with your fingers.  You may also mail me the earrings or necklace and I would be happy to clean and "touch up" the piece.

Q:  Do you teach classes?
A:  No. I would love to if I had an army of people working for me.  Maybe one day...

Q:  Do you take special orders?
A:  It depends on how busy I am.  I do custom work for weddings, resize necklaces and bracelets for free.  It usually takes about 1-4 weeks depending on the time of year and if I have the right materials.
